Networking groups seem to put me in contact with a wide variety of small and individual business owners who are looking to build their practices through product sales.. Are there strategies to utilizing this type of networking that will be efficient use of my marketing time?

b I want to keep accurate numbers and had a question about just what qualifies as Ideal Client Acquisition Time. I'm involved in Self Referrals. If I am talking to someone and during the conversation, I realize that they don't have the resources to become an Ideal Client, would it qualify for Ideal Client Acquisition time if I would then offer to send the book, potential Financial Road Map®, etc. I'm struggling with not counting that as Ideal Client Acquisition time vs. counting it because "everyone deserves a Financial Road Map®". Your thoughts, please.
b Going into my first Financial Road Map® interview, do clients ever ask or express skepticism/sarcasm at the, ‘What’s Important About…To You’ questions because it's just a fill in the blank formula. I ask because someone I practiced with asked this and I must admit that I felt a similar feeling. I know that the process works and gets to important values, but it feels almost too simple. Please offer your thoughts and perspective.
b I have worked with many of my existing clients for several years and when we first met I conducted a Values Conversation but did not continue through the remaining parts. Now I am having discussions with these people by the Old World/New World™ Conversations. My question is do I do a completely new Financial Road map® from start to finish or do I start from their old staircase of answers. Understand most of these clients had the Values Conversation over 5 years ago.
b Recently I have completed due diligence and purchase of a direct property investment with one of my ideal clients. Following this transaction I have had a subsequent meeting with the investment administrator and he has given me a lead to another of his investors who, the investment administrator indicated, seemed to be a bit unsure and could possibly benefit from professional advice. To be clear this was not a referral, in sales school/language it was a lead, given as a way to encourage me to show more clients his investment options. I have completed some research on this lead and he is definitely someone that I want to talk to and have him and his wife in for a Financial Road Map® Interview. How do I make the initial contact with this potential client without coming across as a salesperson following up on a lead? I am considering a letter introducing myself and my business, followed by a phone call, however I am concerned that this will be dismissed as just another sales pitch.
b I just became a Committed Advisor and as you know I have a mature business. There is a lot of material, what should I focus on first and what should my staff focus on first?
